03 / PROTECTION

What the Patent Protects

Independent Claim 1

Code-at-camera

A method using a smart-home system with a video doorbell assembly (camera, microphone, speaker) at a building entrance. The camera scans and reads a machine-readable code presented by a visitor's computing device; the system processes the code to evaluate identity and health data.

Independent Claim 12

Device-to-doorbell handshake

A method of sharing health data among users of a smart-home network. The visitor's device establishes communication with the doorbell, generates a machine-readable code on request, and presents it to the camera, including Smart Health Cards and NFC handshake.

Independent Claim 17

Networked-entry access control

A method of access control using networked devices at a building entrance. The system detects a visitor's device, prompts presentation of a machine-readable code, processes the code, and provides a notification, including credentials carrying personal and health data.

Continuation claims add wearable-sourced data, RFID/IC-card paths, AI-assisted review, and wellness-awareness patterns. Detailed claim charts and feature mapping are available during private review.
